What do I need?

  • A smartphone
  • The itsme® app installed on your smartphone
  • A valid Belgian electronic eID card (and its PIN code)
  • Your bank card or an eID card reader

If you experience any issues while creating your account, please contact itsme® support.

How to log in?

Before authenticating with itsme®, you must have created an itsme® account in the itsme® app installed on your smartphone.

Once this is done:

  • Go to the e‑service you want to access and click "IDENTIFICATION via itsme"
  • Enter your phone number and click "Send"
  • Follow the on‑screen instructions. After confirming the login request on your smartphone, you will be connected to the e‑service.

Registration failed

Please contact the itsme® support service.

You can log in with itsme® at your bank but not on e‑services

To log in with itsme® to an administration e‑service, your national registry number must be linked to your itsme® account.

To verify whether it is present in your itsme app:

  1. Open your itsme app
  2. Go to the menu (top left)
  3. Select "My identification data"
